PoliClear is a consumer tool that analyzes auto insurance declarations pages and returns plain-English assessments. By using PoliClear, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use after updates constitutes acceptance. PoliClear is currently operated as an unincorporated business; these Terms will be updated when our legal entity is formally established.

What PoliClear Is — and Is Not

PoliClear is an educational and informational tool. It is not an insurance agency, insurance broker, or licensed insurance advisor. The analysis PoliClear provides is not legal advice, financial advice, or a recommendation to buy, change, or cancel any insurance product. All findings are meant to help you have a more informed conversation — not to replace your own review or a conversation with a licensed professional.

Eligibility

The Services are intended for residents of the United States. By using PoliClear, you represent that you are a legal U.S. resident and are permitted to enter into these Terms under applicable law. We reserve the right to restrict access at any time for any reason.

Use of Service

By using PoliClear, you agree that you will:

• Only upload documents you have the legal right to share
• Use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes unless otherwise agreed
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the service
• Not use the service to generate analysis for fraudulent or deceptive purposes

PoliClear reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these terms.

Document Submission and Data

To use the Services, you may submit a PDF of your auto insurance declarations page or answer a series of onboarding questions. You represent that any document you submit relates to your own policy and that you have the right to share it for analysis purposes.

We use your submitted document solely to generate your analysis. We do not sell or share your individual policy data with third parties for marketing purposes. We may use anonymized, aggregated data — data that cannot reasonably identify you — to improve our Services and produce industry-level insights.

Email and Communications

To receive your full analysis, you may be asked to provide your email address. By submitting your email, you consent to receiving your analysis results and, if applicable, product updates and educational content from PoliClear. We will not sell your email address to third parties. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in any email we send. Transactional emails related to your analysis (such as delivery of your results) are not subject to opt-out.

AI-Generated Content

PoliClear uses artificial intelligence to analyze policy documents and generate output. While we work to make this analysis accurate and useful, AI-generated content has inherent limitations. Our analysis is based only on what you provide, may not reflect all policy terms or state-specific regulations, and is not reviewed by a licensed insurance professional before delivery. Always verify material findings with your insurer or a licensed professional before making any coverage decisions.

Agent Referrals

As part of the Services, PoliClear may present a list of vetted, licensed insurance agents who are available to review your PoliClear analysis with you and discuss your coverage options, including potential changes or shopping alternatives.

Important disclosures:

• Agent listings are not endorsements. Inclusion of an agent in PoliClear's directory does not constitute a recommendation or guarantee of their services, pricing, or suitability for your situation.
• PoliClear may receive compensation. We may receive fees from participating agents or agencies in connection with referrals made through the Services. This compensation does not affect the objectivity of your policy analysis, which is generated independently based solely on your submitted documents and responses.
• Your choice is entirely your own. You are under no obligation to contact any agent listed. Any engagement with an agent is solely between you and that agent. PoliClear is not a party to any transaction, agreement, or advice that results from that interaction.
• Agent relationships are governed by their own terms. PoliClear is not responsible for the advice, products, pricing, or conduct of any agent or agency listed in the Services.

No Warranties

PoliClear is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of any analysis produced. Insurance policies are complex and vary by carrier, state, and individual circumstance. Always verify findings with a licensed insurance professional before making decisions.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PoliClear and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or reliance on any analysis it produces. This includes, without limitation, decisions made about your insurance coverage based on PoliClear output, and any outcome resulting from your engagement with a referred agent. In no event shall our total liability exceed $100.

Intellectual Property

The PoliClear name, logo, and all content on this site are the property of PoliClear. Analysis output is generated on your behalf for your personal use. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit any part of the service without prior written permission.

Third-Party Services

PoliClear uses third-party services to operate, including:

• Anthropic API — AI analysis engine
• Vercel — hosting infrastructure

Use of PoliClear is subject to the terms of these upstream providers as they apply to our usage. We are not responsible for the actions or policies of third-party services.

Governing Law and Contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions, and apply to all users of the Services throughout the United States. By using PoliClear, you consent to the jurisdiction of the state or federal courts located in Collin County, Texas for resolution of any disputes arising out of these Terms or the Services.
